I'm haveing problems getting IE^ to connect to internet after bringing my
computerr out of the suspend mode. My Outlook express connects and handles
mail O.K. but IEP can't find the ISP address about 2/3 of the time. After
rebooting or restoring to a prior restore point, - - everything is fine
untill I have suspended. If I don't suspend and just let the screen saver
work, - -it stays O.K. Thanks for any and all help. Harold

Do you have any proxy-based spyware or antivurs packages running, like Avast
or another product? It is possible the local proxy server is not coming back
online.

I'm beginning to think that ZoneAlarm is doing it, although I have been
running ZoneAlarm for a couple of years with no problem, and now this problem
for the past 3-4 weeks. Through the process of eliminations, I will
eventually find it I guess. - - -I hope!
