IE7 beta 2 uninstall
Posted by Jeffrey on April 21st, 2006

I had to try IE7 Beta 2. It was nice however it interferred with a few
programs on my system. I uninstalled through add/remove programs and now IE6
is not working. I tried to reinstall IE6 and it says I have a newer version.
I reinstalled winXP sp2 to get it back but still no luck. When I start IE6
it just opens and closes a window that I suppose is IE. By the way if it
helps: Pent IV 2.8Ghz, 2G Ram, Windows XP Sp2

I thought that I did as we are talking about Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

Thanks, but as you may notice that the fix states that you must in stall the
SP2 update, and I have already stated that I did that. I tried to get to a
place on microsoft that would allow me to download SP2 so that I may get
something other that the old cd I have, but won't let me do that unless I am
using IE. Like I said not working.
