Is there a way to get the Image Preview from Millenium to work in XP? I'm
referring to the small window in the bottom left corner of the right-hand
pane. When there are thousands of pics in one folder, too much RAM is used
when I try to display thumbnails. The system keeps working and working.

Perhaps it's trying to create thumbnails. You might find it more
efficient to subdivide your folders.

Have you clicked the little arrows next to "Details"?

ummm, mine does. When I put it in detail view.

You may need to shrink some of the XP left hand menus if your screens
resolution is set to less than 1024x768.

I'm using Details view. My screen resolution is 1024x768.

You need to not only check Details but also need to make sure you are
not in "Folder View" In other words make sure that the "Folders"
button in Explorer is not clicked.

Ok, I did that and Details is checked. I still don't see the small Image
Preview window.

I figured it out. I had associated JPGs with Infranview. I changed it to
Picture and Fax Viewer. Now I see the previews. It's still not the same as in
ME. I would like to still be able to use folder view at the same time. Oh,
well.
