h i am attempting to install windows xp on a workation iv been given at work.
its a hpxw4300, with 2 36 gig seagate scsi drives in.
when i try to install 3rd party raid controller none of them work, i can get
to it starting to copy files after iv choose the riad driver, but it then
frezes and blue screens with the following message:

*** STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC000005,0XF853C0BF,0XF8988208,0XF8987F08)
*** pci.sys - Address F853c0BF base at F8535000, Datestamp, 3b7d855c

can anyone advise what step to take next as i have not a clue where to go
yet, iv downloaded every driver off the internet from HP website, it just
will not get past the initial loading of drivers and freezing.
any ideas welcome

RAID controllers must set up the RAID partition before you try to
install any operating system. You must access the the RAID system and
define the RAID drives (RAID 1 -- mirror) before install XP.
