- Internet Explorer Display Problems....
- Posted by Delafoo on December 8th, 2005
In my Windows XP Internet Exploer, on cites like Ebay, the page get
filled with all of these boxes with X's in them. where little images
should be at random places... like a yellow highlight bar will show but
the last part will have the little box. Sometimes it happens where
there are supposed to be buttons etc. This happens in Mozilla Firefox
as well.
I right clicked on it and I get the following information:
GENERAL
bug.cgi
Protocol: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
Type: Not Available
Address: http://127.0.0.1:1031/bug.cgi
(URL)
Size: Not Available
Demention: 28X30 pixels
Created: Not Available
Modified: Not Available
I have tried nearly everything to remedy this... I tried lowering my
security, enabling, even accepting all cookies, adding this cite to my
trusted sites in both security and my firewall (Zone Alarm). I tried
turning off my firewall, I tried using a different browser (firefox)
all to no avail.
Any suggestions on how to fix this??
Thanks to all who reply!

Have you tried scanning the drive for spyware using Spybot, Ad-aware, and
Microsoft's AntiSpyware - updated with the latest updates?
