Internet Explorer search slow and search file

I have launched an Spyware tool, and now Internet Explorer tree, is
slow.
When i open it on my Local C drive. Program search datas before
openning it.
I think, i have a stopped service ?

Otherwise, please post back with information about what "Spyware tool"
you used and what "stopped service" you think you have.
