Joystick Calibration on startup?
Posted by Xx Ice xX on March 5th, 2006

Ive got a Microsoft Precision Joystick pluged into a USB port on my Windows
XP - Home based computer =) lol. I was just wondering, when I shut the
computer down completely (without removing the power or anything) and start
it back up, are my joystick calibrations reset or does windows remember them?
Ive got a helicopter game that i quite enjoy and its really good when the
joystick is calibrated. Sometimes when i restart i think one of the axis's is
a bit off and i seem to crash more haha. lol Is this me or does it lose its
calibration?
THanks heaps for any response =D

Hello
I have MS Forcefeedback II - It has sidewinder central in which you can
configure, record, test etc any variation for any game/simulation.
Once I have set what I want the stick to do for whatever game, I save and
the settings are there automatic when I start a sim.
You could also go to microsoft.public.simulators or games for expert help.
