looking for proper place to ask

I am looking for a place to ask some questions about monitors. I had a
aperture grill that died ordered a new 19" shadow mask hate it. there are
some on eBay that are listed as new in box but made in 2000-2001 would it
age in box. Do you think this could be legit.

I just thought this is one of the most popular groups someone might point me
in the right direction.

Thanks Sammy

David,
Thanks. I wonder why everyone has quit making aperture grill monitors.

It's highly unlikely that "new" monitors made in 2000-01 would
"age" sitting in a sealed box. They should be in excellent condition.
Do you know the brands? Are they quality brands?

You found these on eBay and ask if this could possibly be legit. I
have been disappointed too many times by eBay. I never access
eBay anymore. Others probably swear by eBay.

You may be getting a terrific deal. A "new" monitor sealed in a box
for probably pennies on the dollar. Only you can decide whether
you're up to the gamble.

Many of todays flat screen monitors are aperature grill. Why not just
buy one of them?
