When im on e-bay i get this annoying thing come in at the top of the
sreen-wanting me to install it-what is it,and how can i put an end to it
appearing nearly all the time.

Flash is a multimedia type of content that some web pages use. For the
page to render (Display) your system requires the player. It functions as
a "Add-in" to Internet Explorer. Basically, it adds Animation and other
distractions (personal opinion) that makes web pages hard to read. When
the Information Bar appears, you can optionally tell it that you do not
want Flash and not to display future prompts to install it.
