When clicking on an e-mail address to send a message, I get the following
message " default mail client not properly installed". What must I do?

Well, telling us what Mail Client you want to be the default would be a good
start.
CrystalBall© is assuming it's Outlook Express:
1. http://www.oehelp.com/oedef.aspx; then...
2. http://www.oehelp.com/oelnk.aspx
