- Posted by rb45gx on January 6th, 2006
hello,
I got a question regarding this bulletin.
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../ms06-001.mspx
Now I just started reading about this vulnerability and basically my
question is when I install the update does this automatically unregister the
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (Shimgvw.dll)? Cause I know before the patch
this was the temporary workaround...please any info would be much appreciated
it...tia!

No. You must re-register it.
