- Missing file - MSVCR80.dll
- Posted by Phil on December 7th, 2005
Whenever I run Norton SystemWorks One Button Checkup it recently began
telling me that I have 10 problems involving the above missing file.
However, when I do a search, that file is shown to be present.
Does this mean it is corrupted? Is there a way I can delete this file and
replace it with a new one from online or from the windows disk that came with
my PC?
I perform all routine diagnostic tests regularly such as scan disk,
defragmentation, etc.
Thank you,

Hi Phil, just do a search for the file, when you locate the same, put a copy
of that file in the Windows\system32 folder.
That should keep Norton's happy.
Same thing happened to me after installing Net.Framework 2.
