- Missing files in Temporary Internet Files Directory
- Posted by MHR on December 22nd, 2005
After I watch a streaming movie file (not ra), I cannot find it in the
Temporary Internet Files. I used to be able to find it. Have I turned
off some feature that saves the files in my Temporary Internet Files
cache. Thanks for your help.

What folder path are you looking at ?
The Temporary Internet Files path is usually:
C:|Documents and Setting\<user account|Temporary Internet Files
and it is normally a "hidden" system directory.

Y.
I am in the Temporary Internet Files Subdirectory. I find all of the
files except for the video files.

Look in c:\documents and settings\<user name>\local settings\temp\, or use
Start - Search, making sure to tell it to look in hidden/system folders.
