- missing options in XP

I can only set my appearance in win xp to the classic view. There are
no other options there to choose from. I have ran virus scans and
spyware scans with no luck. I can find no other changes on my system.

Is the Themes service started?
(Start, Run and type Services.msc. Start the Themes service and set to
Automatic)
