Mouse cursor turns around
Posted by malling@iname.com on October 21st, 2005

I've attached a second screen (Samsung SyncMaster 910T), a TFT screen
in pivot (upright) position. My primary screen is the TFT screen on my
laptop.

The mouse cursor seems to have become somehow confused by this.
Sometimes it turns around, when on my laptop screen, as if it were on
the pivoted screen. Normally it is shown correcly, and the turning
upside down is connected to moving to certain places on the screen,
e.g. moving into or out of the taskbar - but only every second time -
and only sometimes. Sometimes also when I simply hoover over a link.

I also have problems selecting the correct screens (in the screen
properties). It should have the laptop driver and the Samsung driver
selected for the two screens respectively, but I can't select both. I
can only display two screen types, and now it is the SyncMaster, and
"Plug and Play screen", even though the driver for the laptop screen IS
installed. Before it had the laptop screen displayed, but not the
SyncMaster.

Can anybody help?

Peter.
