When I position my mouse pointer over certain items, such as items in the
Start menu list, the items indicated by the > symbol do not appear
immediately, as they used to. When I click on the displayed item, the > items
do appear ok. For instance, when I click on "Start", then position my mouse
pointer over "Programs", nothing happens for 10 seconds, or until I click on
"Programs", then I hover over "Accessories" and nothing appears for 10
seconds,or until I click on that item.
I have Tweak UI, and the mouse hover sensitivity is set at 10, and the mouse
hover time at 10 ms - both of these settings are evidently default settings,
as they reappear on rebooting even though I select lower settings. However,
the "10" settings seem ok, since the test icon changes color promptly when I
hover my pointer over it.
I have, of course, gone to the Start tab and checked the box " Open submenus
when I pause on them with my mouse"
