When you open msconfig and under startup tab I have duplicate entries. How do
i remove the duplicate entries so it will not show up in msconfig anymore?
Thank You

I the registry. Navigate to Start\Run\Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSconfig and delete the items shown as subfolders from startupreg
Always back up your Registry before doing anything in there. It is good practice and common sense.

Hi,
If a duplicate has one enabled and one not enabled, check both and reboot -
only one instance should remain. Then open that program and check its
settings for an option to keep it from loading at boot rather than using
msconfig.
