My windows XP Home edition has been experienceing the following problem.
Periodicaly the system freezes with a white sheet window when bringing up 'My
computer' or trying to save a file from any software when the file drop down
window opens. When I bring up task manager to close unresponding program the
desktop clears and complete OS lockup occurs. Or if this doesn't respond
have to hit reboot button on computer. Try rebooting and it may repeat a few
times before working. If system is up for several hours with no activity it
occurs again.
