- My Documents (desktop) files differ from C:user name: My Documents
- Posted by luke32 on March 4th, 2006
My Documents files, accessible from desktop shortcut, are up to date. When I
go to My Computer:C:user name:My Documents, the files are different, much
older. Many documents are missing when I go to My Documents via My Computer.
I may have backed up long ago and the old files are still there when I go via
My Computer.
I want to back up now onto a ZIP disk and I am concerned that I am going to
back up an ancient version of my files
What's up?
Thanks. --

View the properties for the Desktop 'My Documents' and use the 'Find Target' button to see what
folder it is using.
