- My Documents Window Won't Open When Double Clicked on Start Menu

Until yesterday I was able to open the My Documents folder by double-clicking
on that icon on the Start Menu. Now that does not work. I either have to
click on the icon on the desktop or right-click the icon on the Start Menu
and choose open. How can I fix this? I'm sure there is an easy way
