- Network Place setup
- Posted by aualias on October 16th, 2005
I am trying to set up a network place using a url...
http://www.someplace.com
The site requires a login. With Server 2003 (or Windows 2000 before that)
all I do is set up the network place and a dialog pops up requesting the
login. With Windows XP (logging in as an administrator) I can set up the
network place, but no login dialog pops up and no files are displayed (no
error message either).
This looks like a configuration issue. How do I set up XP so that the login
dialog will display?
Thanks.
David
