New software purchase won't run *error* HELP
Posted by x_joanna_x on September 25th, 2005

Hi,

I recently purchased a new CD-ROM called Create your own labels. It says
that is compatible with my PC but when I've tried to install it, it doesn't
work! It says insert CD ROM, from the start menu click run and type
D:\SETUP.EXE and press enter. The message I get is:

16 bit windows subsytem
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS_DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the
application.

I've tried to install it many times but always get this same message.

I hope someone can help me out.

Regards,

Joanna.

Contact the software manufacturer and ask for a replacement of the CD
as it appears to be defective.
