None or many programs starting up.
Posted by Seamus on April 10th, 2006

Hi.
* I'm trying to start Xfiles Dialog, Keyboard Express and the Office 2002
Toolbar from The Windows Start Menu, Startup folder.
* I get two office toolbars, and error messages saying KE and XF are running
already.
* So I run MSCONFIG, and see they are listed twice: as in Startup (Common
User) and in Startup. I uncheck them in Startup.
* And upon restart, _none_ start.
* In Teakui, the Start Menu special folder is c:\D&S\All Users\Start Menu
and the Startup menu is c:\D&S\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
* There are no shortcuts in the variious other users' Startup folders.
* Threse three programs don't have other statup options that I can find.

Any ideas, with thanks?
