Obscure but helpful shortcut shortcut

This might help someone if they had to make large numbers of shortcuts
manually, in multiple subfolders, and wanted to avoid getting carpel tunnel
syndrome...it can significantly reduce the total number of mouse clicks
needed to create the shortcuts:

1. select the files/folders that you want made into shortcuts.
2. hold down ctrl+shift and click-drag the selected files/folders a half
inch or more away, then let go of the mouse.
3. The new shortcuts are created and BECOME SELECTED.

BUT, if you know beforehand that after creating the shortcuts, you'll be
needing to select the ORIGINAL files for further action (move, delete, etc)
and you want to avoid having to re-select them, do steps 1-3 above, BUT drag
the selected files/folders ONLY ABOUT 1/8 OF AN INCH: when you release the
mouse, the shortcuts will be still screated, but the ORIGINAL FILES will
remain selected (instead of the new shortcuts), allowing you to proceed
directly to move, delete, or otherwise manipulate the original files, without
having to re-select them.
