- Out of disk space on my main drive after file copy to a USB disk?
- Posted by Ray Stevens on March 8th, 2006
I copied a large VMWare file to a USB drive from my laptop which had around
4GB of remaining space. Part way through the transfer I began to get a "low
disk space" warning and discovered I was down to 0 bytes of remaining space.
I am guessing the file copy created a cache somewhere that I need to delete.
Does anyone know if this is the case or what would cause this problem? (I
was only doing the file copy and nothing else)
