- Outlook Express Problem
- Posted by Joe on December 4th, 2005
I have a friend that is using XP Home and Outlook Express.
Her problem is that OE will not retain her password and although I think I
have seen a solution to it I've been unable to find it. We have gone through
all the usual things like ticking the box to save passwords etc but every
time she goes to use OE the password box is greyed out.
Can anyone here help us please?

I would recommend you repost in an Outlook Express newsgroup.

No problemo! (Actually, there were several pages similar to 290864 just a
while ago but they've all been consolidated into this one.)

Then you've not posted with any frequency to OE6 newsgroup: It's the 29th
most-trafficked newsgroup on the MS newsserver so we must be doing
*something* right! <wink>
