Outlook shortcut
Posted by Jasper Recto on June 19th, 2008

I had Office 2000 installed on my computer. If you right clicked on the
Outlook shortcut, you would be able to get the mail properties.

I recently removed Office 2000 and installed Office 2003. In doing so, I
lost my Outlook shortcut on my desktop. I can add the shortcut but It does
not give me the ability to right click and go into the mail properties to
setup my account.

How do I add that option to my desktop. I know I can get to the mail
options from the control panel by I want to be able to right click and get
it like I was able to with Office 2000.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jasper

Create the subkey {00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} and assign the
default value (right pane) "Microsoft Office Outlook" (w/o quotes).
Exit regedit and hit the [F5] key in order to refresh the desktop.
