Photo Printing Wizard lost "Available layouts"
Posted by Mark Lafferty on March 15th, 2006

I have a WinXP Home (SP2) PC that has lost the selections in the "Available
layouts" window of the Photo Printing Wizard. I can print photos from other
graphics apps which show available layouts from withing those apps. The
Available Layouts window is blank and therefore no preview is displayed. If
you click the Next button, the app closes.

Is there a way to reinstall the Photo Printing Wizard?

Thanks for your help.

Mark,

Here are the things that I can think of:

1. See if renaming the following file helps:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application
Data\GDIPFONTCACHEV1.DAT

2. Reinstall the printer drivers

3. Run SFC /Scannow to restore missing system files.
