- Printing From DOS application in Win XP home sp2
- Posted by leigh martin on November 3rd, 2005
I have been running a bespoke DOS application in 98se for years Now I want to
use XP computers.
The DOS application will run but I need guidance on the following.
When I print to the printer on the parallel port from the DOS application it
takes ages to produce the print and sometimes pauses half way through. There
was never any problem in 98se even without a printer driver loaded.
I am using XP home sp2 (at least trying to any way)
Any help gratefully recieved

Did you configure the DOS program to print to the correct port?
