This probably isn't a question for this forum, but I'm going to post it in
hopes someone can help.
I would like to be able to hook my laptop up to my television to use it as a
very large monitor. I've heard something about s-video??? Is it just a
special cable? What else do I need to think about??
Thanks,

Unless you have S-Video ports on your laptop (TV Out), forget about it..

I hooked up my laptop to my 27 inch TV using an s-video cable and I could
hardly make out any words or letters. Changing resolutions helped a little. I
hope you get better results.
