hey all, thanks for your help in advance. i think this one might be an easy
one for you all. i have a device that i attach to my laptop and then am
able to tune various systems on the snowsledges and atvs i sell. recent a
change happened (maybe a change due to an update or something). but i had
to make some reconfigurations. one of the things i need to do is turn off
the fifo (sp?) on the usb port i use with the device. i have been able to
do that in the past but now when i go to usb serial port (com5)/port
settings/advanced in device manager i get the dreaded "must have write
privilieges" message. i am the only user on the machine and i am set as
administrator. thanks again for your help. Chris

ps. can i set my OE to notify me when a thread in responded to? thanks
