- Problem with Setup
- Posted by JuanPabloGallardo on September 28th, 2005
I am having trouble to boot my original windows xp home edition.
In order to see my files I installed XP in another partition, but since I
had my user with password, I cannot enter my files, is there any way I can
unprotect that folder, I have to recover those files somehow.
Please help.

You need to take ownership of the files. Take a look here for
the procedure:

Good luck
