Problems getting to some web sites, problems with firewall & antiv
Posted by L M on November 2nd, 2005

I am having a number of problems. I think it all started with the Bagle.gen
virus. I removed the virus but am having problems getting to some web sites.
Also I am having trouble starting my BlackIce firewall engine. Also I am
having problems with my AVG anti virus. I tried reinstalling my anyi virus
and I got the message that I had a bad file descriptor.Where do I start??

I did a virus scan off the internet and got rid of the virus. I scanned with
Ad-aware, SpyBot and CWShredder. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks Larry

Best bet in the future is to NOT to download and install viruses to your
pc. Even if you get rid of the virus, the damage may, and often does,
still exist.

That's just his signature line. If you can't resolve the issues you may
have to do a clean install. Slave the disk in another computer and copy
the important data files first.
