When Windows XP Prof. starts booting up 2 lines appear ie: OPTOUT & WINDOWS
XP PROFFESSIONAL. It asks you to select. Apparently a program I tried must
have embedded OPTOUT. I have tried every trick I know to get rid of OPTOUT.
Can anyone advise as to how I may delete this. This is directed as boot
sector it can be somewhere else my knowledge is limited. Please Help

Please post the contents of the hidden file c:\boot.ini. You can
see it by clicking Start / Run, then typing
notepad c:\boot.ini {OK}
