- Recycle bin using multiple drives
- Posted by Brent Bortnick on March 28th, 2006
Hello
The recycle bin resides on the M drive. when I delete a file from the N
drive, the RECYCLER folder on the N drive does not have it. In fact, all
RECYCLER folders on all drives only show whats in the main Recycle bin (which
is stuff deleted from the M drive). Any suggestions on how to manage deleting
files from multiple drives?
Thank You

As far as I am aware, you cannot delete on a drive by drive basis.......
(Might be wrong though....)

Configure drives independently
Right click Recycle Bin | Properties | Global tab |
Configure drives independently
[[Specifies that different settings be used for each of your drives.]]
Use one setting for all drives
[[Specifies that the settings on this tab be used for all your drives.]]

The recycle bin is configured properly. It's set globally...but even if it
wasn't, all the drives are set to move deleted documents into the recycle bin
