Roaming Profile
Hi Can someone help with an issue in XP?
Whilst logging off and trying to update a roaming profile the following
message is displayed
'Windows cannot update your roaming profile. Possible causes of this error
include network problems ou insufficient security rights. If the problem
persists please contact your administrator
I have checked the ntfs permissions on the cached and server profile which
were set at full control. What else can I check?
Thanks

The date and time was 2/7/2008 9:24 AM, and on a whim, needinfo pounded
out on the keyboard:
It could be that there isn't sufficient disk space to copy the profile.
Roaming profiles work best when kept small.
How large is the roaming profile? Try redirecting My Documents to the
user home directory. Make sure they aren't storing files on the Desktop
either.

Hi,
Ok the problem that seems to be causing the issue is that the server copy of
the profile is locked as if I try and rename it after the user logs off it
says there is a file in use so wen the profile tries to write back it fails
generating the original message.
Created the profile on a different server and now ok
