Save the customized Windows toolbar settings . . .

Is there any way to save the Windows Explorer's toolbar settings, directly
from the registry or from the user profile, so that it can be applied to all
the PCs around like a batch file ??

Any Ideas ?

Try using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to create a custom settings
transfer file that you can save to a CD or floppy disk and use on any Windows
XP PCs.

See this page on how to use the FAST wizard:

Sahdev,

See if distributing these keys help:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\Explorer
-and-
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\ShellBrowser

{01E04581-4EEE-11D0-BFE9-00AA005B4383} is the GUID and you can know the
corresponding DLL/OCX name by looking in here:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{01E04581-4EEE-11D0-BFE9-00AA005B4383}\InProcserver32

Read the (default) value there.

Note: {01E04581-4EEE-11D0-BFE9-00AA005B4383} is IE Address bar's GUID.
