- Screen goes blank!

Sometimes when I click on a button such as the start button, the screen goes
blank for a moment. The screen saver is turned off. Help!

Update your video driver.

I updated the video driver already.

If you have an Nvidia card, disable the System Tray applet and any other
Nvidia extras by using msconfig. I find that on some systems the extras
cause those symptoms and are annoying.

Its an ATI. All startup files _are_ disabled!
