- Security Warning won't go away
- Posted by Jon Davis on April 22nd, 2006
I recently installed hardware drivers for the touchpad on my Dell Latitude D810. I keep getting this message for each of the five or so executables that execute at startup, no matter how many times I uncheck the checkbox at the bottom for "Always show this message".
The same thing happens when I double-click the EXEs manually in the Program Files directory; I uncheck the checkboxe but the message still appears when I try it again.
What can I do to resolve this other than uninstall the drivers?
Thanks,
Jon

The solution, I have found is to locate the executables in C:\Program Files\Apoint, right-click each .exe file and choose Properties, and uncheck "Read-Only" and then click the "Unblock" button.
