- Signing onto groups

Does anyone experience trouble when trying to post a question? I'v been
trying to sign into this group for a couple of weeks and every time i try I
can get in but can't use help or post questions but i can get in to edit my
profile. I'm only in now becaues someone poster a reply to a question, that i
did't ask to me and i used the link to get in. can anyone help?

Hi
You may be better off using a News Reader such as Outlook Express instead of
using the web based access to post/read messages. Please have a look at the

You can use Outlook Express rather than Internet Explorer to access these
newsgroup. Many of us prefer this method.

Thanks for the reply Will but I tried to set up Microsoft Outlook and i could
not get it to work. I opened the toole menu. Clicked on e-mail accounts.
Clicked 'add a new e-mail account'.clicked next but no wizard appeared. What
Shall I do next? NB I use AOL for my email.

Hi
Not Outlook - that article is for Outlook Express. You should be able to
use Outlook Express independently of AOL for reading News Groups.

No, you want to use Outlook Express, not Outlook. They are two different
things. Outlook Express includes a newsreader, Outlook does not.
And note that you want to set up a news account, not an E-mail account.
