Hey guys! Let's get right down to the point, I'm having troubble with my SIMS
2 game. It's super slow, and takes foreverrr to load. Any help or information
would be helpful. Thanks!

On all game issues, 1st thing is to update and apply all patches for the
game from the vendor site. Is the game the only "Slow" application or
does other programs exhibit the same behavior ?

yes. it is the only "slow" application.

Does your PC meet or exceed all the requirements for play ?
I've helped a few folks with "Sims" games and it seems to need
or require a pretty hefty video card. You might also want to
examine the CD surface for smudges or scuffs. While running
the game check your System Event Log and see if the Optical
drive is experiencing Read (or other I/O) error(s).
