Software not wanting to Install in XP
Posted by Ron on February 8th, 2008

I was having problems getting some software to install , the install process
would start, in the middle it would stop, no error or anything, when I went
to shut down the computer right before it shut down, there was the part that
would guide you through the rest of the install but the computer shut down.
I saw a post where it said to right click and RUN AS, then choose
Administrator, I tried this and nothing happened, so I tried it again this
time and choose Current User, there was check box that said Protect my
computer from unathorized program activity, I un-checked this box and clicked
OK then tried to install the software and it worked.
Hope this can help somebody

installed,R.click, select auto run..Forget the "run as"
