Sound Card Drivers
Posted by goobmeister on March 31st, 2006

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could point me to a site where I can download
drivers for my Creative Inspire 2.1 Slim 2600 sound system...Creative's
website does not provide for it any longer because it's from 2002 : (

THANKS!

Goob

www.driverguide.com is the only game in town for abandoned dirvers.
They're are spammy as all hell, and DON't download the utilities they
advertise.

you can try google, but searches usually end up at driverguide anyway

username: driver2
password: all

they give everybody this same damn password. So there's no need to give
them an email address.

These are speakers. There are no drivers required. You need to determine
what sound card you have and install the appropriate drivers.

Woody,

Of course, I meant drivers for the SOUND CARD that drives the speakers! It
was way too late last evening when I gave up and my slip's showing )

OOPS!

Goob

SoundMAX Inegrated Digital Audio...their site has a policy of not providing
drivers.

If you can determine your motherboard manufacturer and model, you can
download the proper driver from their site.
