SP 3
Posted by farid on May 2nd, 2008

I am running Win XP Home with SP 2 ( sent by Microsoft ). SP 1 was
downloaded and installed.
Now I have downloaded the SP 3 which I would like to install but would like
to know if the SP 2 will have to be removed before SP 3 is installed or this
can be done with SP 2.
The SP 3 is on a USB removable drive ( stick ). Will I have twrite to CD or
will it install from the stick.
Any advise given will be appreciated.

Reminder to everyone on WinXP SP3, the REAL release is not out yet.

If you read the download page notes carefully, there is a statement
that the final release will be through Win Updates just like any
previous SP.
