Ok, my computer doesnt go into standby fully. When i press the standby
button on my computer, the screen turns off, and it sounds like the whole
computer goes into standby, but it doesnt. The lights on the frong, the
fans, and the cd drivers are still on. Please help!

Does your hard drive light flash when in Standby? I just tested and the
CD ROM drive can be opened when in Standby. It's normal. Don't worry
about it. Old computers used to turn off the fans. The new ones don't.

Ryan,

I have exact same problem - it just started happening 2 days ago. Previously
my system shutdown - all lights off, cd did not open and fan went off. This
only changed in the last couple of days.
