Hi there,

Are you getting a Blue Screen when this error appears and also is there a
CED on the end of where it says system? If so I might be able to help you.
Let me know.

Paul

That message indicates a problem with the registry. You'll need to boot
from the XP installation CD, enter the recovery console and follow the

If there was a power loss there may be a chance of the file system being
corrupted henceforth the error you are receiving. Perhaps try a chkdsk /p in
recovery console to see if the file system needs repairing. If it reports
problems type in chkdsk /r to see if it can be recovered. If no problems are
found perform a registry repair using the articles provided by other posts
