How do I find the System ID on my computer?
Thanks for the help.

Click start--right click my computer---select properties--general tab. Is
that what you want?

No, I don't think this is it. I think this is the ID for the Windows XP
program on the computer.

Are you referring to the OEM identifier, such as Dell's Service Tag
or Express Service Tag # or the actual Model # of the computer ?
Both should appear on OEM PCs on a label on the bottom of a
laptop or the back side of a desktop PC.

What kind of ID are you looking for?

I was looking for a system ID that was generated by a program that I had
bought (WMA-Convert). Maybe this ID is unique to this program. Thanks
anyway.
