System reboots randomly???
Posted by Brett Romero on November 1st, 2005

I have a laptop that is used for work. While at the work site, it seems to
do fine. Once I bring it home, it will reboot itself at some point during
the evening. I saw this happen once. There was a blue screen then it
rebooted. It happened to fast for me to see what was on the blue screen.
The only difference I can tell is that it connects to my home wireless
network. Not sure what else could be causing it. I don't experience any
problems while it is at home, besides the reboot. I don't use it much once
I'm home so I have only seen it reboot the one time. This is what I found
in the event viewer:

In the system log there is this event

event logs: Application, Security, System, and WinCe Log. In WinCe Log,
there is an event 1001:

Would having the blue screen remain be helpful? I do I make it not reboot
so I can read the blue screen? Any ideas on why this keeps happening?

Thanks,
Brett
