- System Tray Icon Size
- Posted by dr_scott_arthur@yahoo.co.uk on January 20th, 2006
My system tray icons have become over sized. The same can be said for
my "quick launch" icons, IE "favorites" icons and my "All Programs"
icons. The Start Menu looks fine.
Anyone know how to fix this?

1. Click Start, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.
2. Click the Settings tab, and then click the Advanced button.
3. On the General tab, change the DPI setting value to Normal size (96 DPI).
4. Click OK two times.

Right click on your desktop. Choose Properties and then the Appearance
tab. Click on the Effects button. Uncheck "Use large icons".
