I recently had to format my computer and now that I've got Windows XP
installed again, I'm running into a few glitches.
The one I'm working on now is the mp3 files. Before formatting my computer,
when I hovered over an mp3 file, the ToolTip box displayed relevant info like
Artist Name, Album Name, Track #, Track Length, and bitrate quality.
Now, when I hover over an mp3 file, it displays Author instead of Artist, it
now displays Title and Date Modified, and no longer displays Album Name,
Track #, Track Length, and bitrate quality.
My mp3s are currently known as 'winamp media files'. Is there a simple way
to alter what particular info the ToolTip box displays for each type of file?
Please help. Thanks.
Try this command from Start, Run:
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
